Jack Henderson
"Born, not so much under a bad sign, as under a bad sky; on a Fife hill, under an uncompromising starless winter sky, looking across the Forth to Edinburgh. I now live high up in the wind wet hills where the sky and the ground are close friends, always whispering to each other. I've lived in the smog of London and other big cities most of my life, both here in the UK and in the States. Now I live in the clouds. I may not stay here long."
During my time in the States, as well as recording my album, Cheap Tattoo, I played, recorded, and toured with Over The Rhine, Cowboy Junkies, Willard Grant Conspiracy and others extensively throughout the USA, Canada and Europe as well as sharing the stage with Sarah Mclachlan and Natalie Merchant on the Lilith Fair rolling festival. I was pretty stoked to get to play with Buddy and Julie Miller as well as doing a show with Ron Sexsmith where he lent his voice to one of my tunes.
For my new album, Fragile Skin, I got back together with long time cohort, producer and keyboard player Richard Causon- (Ryan Adams, The Jayhawks, Kings of Leon), and on drums Geoff Dugmore-(The Waterboys).
